Union Rescue Mission - The Way Home

Chantal is a native of Bronx, New York and was raised in Los Angeles where she attended Our Mother of Good Counsel and Immaculate Heart High School. Before coming to Union Rescue Mission in September of 2011, Chantal received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  Shortly afterwards, she earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification.  Currently, she is attending California State University, Long Beach pursuing her Master’s degree in Public Administration.

Chantal comes to Union Rescue Mission with 18 years of Human Resources experience in various industries including: retail, healthcare, gaming, manufacturing, and non-profit.  Currently, she oversees the Human Resources Department and is responsible for employee relations, organizational management, recruiting, benefits administration and training.

Chantal attends Zoe Christian Fellowship in Whittier. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, collecting dolphins and spending quality time with her family. She also spends plenty of time doing local community service projects, volunteering, and fund raising for scholarships as a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

Chantal feels God lead her to her position at Union Rescue Mission. Through URM, Chantal has the opportunity to fellowship, spread and grow in the word of God and simultaneous contribute to helping others find their way out of their current life situation. She is strong in her conviction that she can help others find God’s path for their lives, just as God lead her to Union Rescue Mission.
