Life-Transformation Program

Union Rescue Mission is committed to helping men overcome the addictions and other issues that have devastated their lives. It isn’t easy — it takes time and hard work. We offer men the time and help they need in three phases:

Christian Life Discipleship Program (1 year)

Union Rescue Mission’s residential Christian Life Discipleship Program is an intense, in-depth, year-long plan designed to help men understand the root causes of their homelessness and why their lives aren’t working — and then to rebuild their lives on a solid biblical foundation and lasting solutions.

Our program doesn’t focus on just one part of a man’s life; we believe it’s important to affect his entire life — physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and social. We provide men in our program with . . .

Graduation:

After the successful completion of 12 months in the CLDP residential program, men celebrate their graduation and begin the transition to independent living.

Apprenticeship Program (6 months)

After men achieve their goals and graduate from our 12-month program, they often face some of their most difficult tests. Over the next six months following their graduation, as they begin to make the transition toward independence, we offer men the support and structure they need to make the transition successfully. Our men use this time to build a solid employment history, attend school, or get vocational training.

Transitional Living Program (3 months)

Over the final three months of our program, men continue to live at the Mission as they seek permanent employment, save money, look for affordable housing, and continue their education or vocational training.
