Paul Shoop has been a member of the Union Rescue Mission Board of Directors since January 2002. He is a Senior Vice President, Attorney at Law with Shoop & Leanse with offices in Malibu. He specializes in General Business Law, Real Estate Law and Litigation.

Paul is a graduate of Baylor University, receiving a B.A. in 1969. He graduated from the University of Texas Law School, J.D., 1972 (cum laude).

Scholastic Honors and Activities include: Associate Editor, Texas Law Review 1971-72; Counsel Award for Leadership 1972; Insurance Council Journal Scholarship 1971, First Place – Moot Court Competition.

Academic Activities include:

  • 1976-1980, Associate Adjunct Professor of Law, Pepperdine University School of Law, Malibu, California
  • 1985 – present, Lecturer, Pepperdine University School of Law
  • Lecturer, Continuing Legal Education, various business, litigation and real estate topics.
